Refund Policy

At Pure Living, we are committed to providing high-quality wellness services and educational experiences. This Refund Policy outlines when refunds, credits, or rescheduling options may apply for sessions, courses, workshops, retreats, or digital products purchased through our website.

1. General Policy

All bookings—whether for sessions, classes, workshops, retreats, or online courses—are considered confirmed once payment or a deposit has been received.

Refunds, credits, or rescheduling options will be evaluated based on the type of service booked and the timing of the cancellation.

2. Cancellations by Clients

2.1 24-Hour Cancellation Rule

To cancel or reschedule a booking, clients must notify Pure Living at least 24 hours before the scheduled session or event.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance:
    Eligible for rescheduling or a refund (full or partial, depending on the service).
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance:
    May result in the loss of the deposit or full service fee.
  • No-shows:
    No refund or credit will be issued.

3. Refunds for Specific Services

3.1 Wellness Sessions (Reiki, Gut Health, Holistic Consultations)

  • Refunds are available if the session is cancelled more than 24 hours in advance.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.

3.2 Workshops, Classes & Group Events

Due to venue preparation and limited capacity:

  • Cancellations at least 48 hours in advance may qualify for a refund or transfer to another date.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
  • Client substitutions (sending someone else in your place) may be allowed with prior notice.

3.3 Online Courses & Digital Products

Because digital content is accessible immediately:

  • Refunds are not provided after course materials have been accessed or downloaded.
  • If you experience technical issues, we will assist you in regaining access or provide alternative solutions.

3.4 Retreats or Special Events

These have unique cost structures (venues, catering, suppliers).
Refunds may follow this structure:

  • 30+ days before event: 80–100% refund or transfer
  • 14–29 days before: 50% refund
  • Less than 14 days: non-refundable
  • Should Pure Living secure a replacement attendee, partial refunds may be considered.

4. Missed Sessions Due to Emergencies

We understand that emergencies happen.
Clients who miss a session due to serious illness, medical emergencies, or unexpected circumstances may be offered:

  • A complimentary reschedule, or
  • A partial credit for future bookings

This is granted at Pure Living’s discretion and may require proof (e.g., medical note for recurring cancellations).

5. Cancellations by Pure Living

If Pure Living must cancel or reschedule a session, course, or event due to unforeseen circumstances (illness, emergencies, facilitator unavailability, etc.):

  • Clients will be offered a full refund or
  • A rescheduled date of their choice (subject to availability)

Pure Living is not liable for travel costs or external expenses incurred by clients.

6. Refund Processing Times

Approved refunds will be processed within:

  • 5–10 business days for EFT or card payments
  • Additional time may be required depending on your bank or payment provider

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

7. Digital Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback through your bank or payment provider, please contact us directly at liz@pureliving.org.za so we may resolve the issue promptly.

Unwarranted chargebacks may result in suspension of access to future services.
